The Doctors and Staff at Rawson & Braxton Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are proud to be a part of team whose primary concern is the patient. We strive to provide the finest and most comprehensive oral surgical care available to all of our patients, in the most comfortable atmosphere possible. Our doctors always inform each patient of their treatment options and the associated costs. Our business staff will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding the payment of your fees.
Payment in full is expected for all consultation visits. We will file a claim to your insurance company, directing the benefits be sent directly to you.
We accept cash, money orders, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept CareCredit for your convenience. If other arrangements are needed, our business staff will be happy to speak with you prior to scheduling your surgical appointment.
We strive to help every patient obtain the maximum allowable insurance benefits for the services that we provide. As a courtesy to our patients, our Insurance Coordinator will attempt to estimate your benefits in advance of your surgery, if time permits. To do so, you will need to bring in the patient's ID card for both medical and dental coverage. If we are able to verify your eligibility, deductibles, annual maximum, excluded services, and percentage of UCR for your particular surgical procedure(s), we will accept your estimated portion of the fee at your surgery visit, and file the claim with your insurance company. Please understand that this is an estimate only, and not a guarantee of any benefits. The patient remains fully responsible for payment of the entire fee. If any of this information is unavailable to us, or your insurance company will not send the check to us, we will collect the entire fee at your surgery appointment and promptly file a claim with your insurance company directing any reimbursement be paid directly to you. Or if you prefer, you can file our itemized receipt with your insurance company.
