David Rawson, DMD is a Pensacola native.  After graduating from Pensacola High School he attended Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.  He received his dental degree from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.  He has practiced in Pensacola since 1974.  He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1980.  Dr. Rawson is married and has three children.  He and his family are members of First Baptist Church.  When not in the office, Dr. Rawson enjoys his family, being in the woods, golf and jogging!

Mark Braxton, DMD is a native of Columbus, Georgia.  He received his dental training at The Medical College of Georgia.  After graduation, he completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.  In 1981 he returned to the Medical College of Georgia to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.  He has practiced in Pensacola with Dr. Rawson since 1984.  He became a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986.  Dr. Braxton is married and has two children.  He and his family are members of Gulf Breeze Methodist Church.  He spends his leisure time with his family and friends, fishing and boating!

We are located in Pensacola on AIRPORT BLVD., between TGI Friday's and Davis Highway, closer to Davis.  Our office building cannot be seen from Airport Blvd, because we are directly BEHIND the AT&T WIRELESS BUILDING.

Payment in full is expected for all consultation visits and for any surgical procedures performed the same day.  An itemized receipt will be given to you which contains all the needed information and signatures to request insurance reimbursement.  Simply attach this receipt to a claim form that you have completed with your information and send in to your insurance company.  The benefits will be sent directly to you.

We accept cash, money orders, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.  If other arrangements are needed, our business stafff will be happy to speak with you prior to scheduling your surgical appointment.

We want to help you obtain the maximum allowable insurnace benefits for the services that we provide.  As a courtesy to our patients, we will attempt to ESTIMATE your benefits in advance of your surgery, if time permits.  To do so, you will need to bring in the PATIENT'S ID card for both medical and dental coverage.  If we are able to verify your eligibility, deductibles, annual maximum, excluded services, and percentage of UCR for your particular surgical procedure(s), we will accept your estimated portion of the fee at your surgery visit, and file the claim with your insurance company.  PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY AND NOT A GUARANTEE OF ANY BENEFITS.  The patient remains fully responsible for payment of the entire fee.  If any of the needed information is unavailable to us, or your insurance company will not send the check to us, we will collect the entire fee at your surgery appointment and promptly file a claim with your insurance company directing any reimbursement be paid directly to you.  Or if you prefer, you can file our itemized receipt with your insurance company.
